March For Meals is an annual campaign designed to raise awareness of senior hunger and to encourage action at the local level. Senior Nutrition Programs across the United States promote March For Meals in their communities through public events, partnerships with local businesses, volunteer recruitment efforts and fundraising initiatives.

Mayors For Meals Day
Mayors For Meals is a component of March For Meals that utilizes the involvement of local mayors and elected officials to raise awareness about senior hunger. These individuals deliver meals on one day in March to show their support of their local Senior Nutrition Program. In 2012, over 1,500 mayors and elected officials volunteered.
This year's Mayors For Meals Day was held Wednesday, March 20, 2013. View the growing list of mayors and local officials who particpated in the 2013 Mayors For Meals campaign here.
