The 2011 Special Event

On Wednesday, August 31, MOWAA will host a night to remember at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere.
As a Conference participant you will also have exclusive access to two exciting exhibits:
- The Great Train Story – depicting the railroad’s winding journey between Chicago and Seattle, passing through the Midwest, the Plains States, the Rockies, the Cascades, and into the Pacific Northwest; and
- Science Storms – revealing the extraordinary science behind some of nature’s most powerful and compelling phenomena—tornadoes, lightning, fire, tsunamis, sunlight, avalanches and atoms in motion.
Experience standing inside a 40-foot tornado, triggering an avalanche or creating a tsunami – and then join us for dinner in the museum’s spectacular Rotunda.
