Capacity Building
To reach our vision of ending senior hunger in America by
2020, the staff at the MOWAA National Office must have sufficient resources to
enact innovative
strategies and campaigns.
Our capacity building efforts help us meet the
growing needs of Meals On Wheels programs nationwide.
“MOWAA has been
very supportive and helpful to my program. They are always there to help
me with creative ideas which enable me to be more helpful in my
community. It is great to know that whenever I have a question or concern
there is a friendly MOWAA staff member always there to respond to my
needs”.

Aging in Kissimmee, FL

We work hard to keep administrative costs low – in 2008,
overhead was just 16% of our total operating expenses. This is one of
the reasons MOWAA was named one of the Wise Giving Alliance Better
Business Bureau's Top Accredited Charities
MOWAA believes strongly in transparency. We make our annual financial statements available to donors, Members, and the general public.
